Finding Artists and Arts Education Programs
On this website, you will be able to find information about the educational programs offered by artists and cultural institutions in a wide variety of art forms. Showcase artists and arts organizations go through a screening process by a panel of educators and artists. Their programs are aligned with either Kentucky standards (Core Content and Program of Studies) or the National Standards in the Arts.
Click on the Search button on the upper right side of the screen, to find artists by name, art form, grade levels, and other subject areas. Each Showcase Artist has an information page with a description of their program, contact information, pricing, and in most cases, a mini-performance or interview.
Kentucky public schools can download and record the 2009 Showcase performances and interviews on Kentucky Educational Television’s Teacher Channel, KET-ED, in April 2009. Click here to find the broadcast times on KET-ED.
