KET Broadcasts of Arts Education Showcase

The 2008 Arts Education Showcases, filmed on March 13-14 in Somerset, will be broadcast to all Kentucky public schools in April and May on Kentucky Educational Television’s teacher channel: KET-ED.  Over six hours of performances and interviews were filmed, and these will be sent to schools on several block feeds listed below.  Please ask your librarian/media specialist to record these blocks.  Broadcast times are subject to change.  Please consult www.ket.org to confirm broadcast times. 

If you are unable to view or record these broadcasts at a Kentucky public school, you may also view Showcase performances and interviews on the website in the artist pages, which you may find through the Search function. 

Please note that these performances are not intended for classroom use.  The purpose of these performances is to help teachers and others to research and select arts education programming for their schools.
